THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Event Attendant to perform event décor installation and teardown tasks and ensure that events are completed efficiently, safely, and meet company standards.


THE STARTING RATE: $18.50/Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Perform event-related installation tasks including pulling inventory, loading/unloading, delivery and on-site set-up

  • Perform event-related tear down tasks including on-site disassembly of props, florals, linen and decor, loading/unloading, return and restocking

  • Lead crews and outside labor for installation and tear downs on smaller scale events

  • Operate company trucks, vans and lifts, notify management of gas and maintenance needs

  • Adhere to safety, security and property dock/loading procedures and policies

  • Ensure that venues/MREP studio is clean and orderly, tools are maintained, and equipment is properly stored after use, report loss, theft, or damage

  • Properly pack, unpack and check goods against orders and handle inventory to protect against damage

  • Accurately read and complete all required paperwork

  • Create a SHOW Service work environment promoting creativity, collaboration, teamwork, recognition, mutual respect


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must have a valid Driver's License

  • Preferably has 1 Years of prior relevant experience in Events, Stagehand, Technical Theater, Warehouse, Furniture and/or General Labor

  • Preferably has scheduling flexibility, as this position schedules based on events with peak and low periods
