Additional Details: we are looking for someone who is registered in at least radiology and mammography and prefer someone who is also registered in CT.

How you'll contribute
An Imaging Technologist who excels in this role:

  • Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
  • Monitors patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
  • Prepares equipment and supplies, select exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensures compliance with safety standards.
  • Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports malfunctions as necessary.
  • Positions patients and perform imaging procedures.
  • Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately.
  • Provides direct support in meeting departmental service levels.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provide quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.

    Applicants should be graduates of a Radiologic Technology program. Additional requirements include:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology and mammography with CT preferred
  • Current State of Nevada X-ray license.
  • BCLS required.
